Roku express has been connected via ethernet for the last couple of years, It was always a bit patchy but usually after a reboot it would reconnect no problem.
No longer reconnects and insists on setting up a network connection.
> There is no longer a Wired connection option in the settings menu. Where has it gone, and *why*?
I only bought an Express as I explicitly wanted a wired connection. Without that it's useless to me (and will not be replaced)
Thanks

You can indeed connect your Roku Express 4K to ethernet via an external adapter. If the 'Wired' option is unavailable on the Settings menu under Options > Set up connection, we highly suggest, unplugging your ethernet and performing a system reboot under Settings > System > System restart to refresh it and then replug your ethernet again.
