The new Roku Express that I purchased in 2020 was bad out of the box. It will not connect to WiFi.
Can I return this product for exchange! It was purchased in 2020. I have Roku order number and Serial number.

For the Roku Express models (pre-3960 model numbers), make sure you have a working 2.4ghz band, set the 2.4ghz wireless mode to b/g/n, and try removing any special characters from the wifi password on the 2.4 ghz band and see if the device connects.
If you have a mobile hotspot, try connecting to it on the 2.4ghz band (or "maximize compatibility" in the hotspot settings) and see if you can get it to connect to the hotspot.
