Hi, @Marvin4

Greetings, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We noticed your post regarding needing assistance in connecting your Roku device to a wireless network, and we'd be happy to assist. In addition to @Anonymous's, make sure to have an available router/modem for a wireless connection. Once it has been set up, connect your Roku device to Wi-Fi during setup.

Use the following steps to connect your Roku device to Wi-Fi when prompted during Guided Setup.

  1. Select Wireless on your Roku device
  2. Select your wireless network from the list of available Wi-Fi networks
  3. If you do not see your network, select Scan again to see all networks
  4. Enter your network password
  5. Select Connect
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the rest of the setup process
  • Tip: Passwords are case-sensitive. You can select Show Password to see the password as you type.

For more information on setting up your Roku device's network connection, you can refer to this support article on How to connect your Roku streaming device to the internet

We hope you find this information useful, and let us know if you have further concerns or inquries.

@Marvin4

You do have some kind of router? If you don't, you really should have one. You will then setup the router for you own personal WIFI network at home. You will use your router's WIFI settings to connect to your ROKU.
