The lights on the Roku Ultra RJ-45 jack do not flash when the cable is inserted. No evidence of a handshake.
I'll open the router software to see if there is any evidence that it sees the Ultra. I'm going to have to find some time to pursue that avenue. I'll get back to you.
Can I get the Ultra Mac Address from settings right?

Yes, from the Settings/System/About menu.
What model cable modem and switch are you connecting it to?
A quick look through their specs will tell you if they support 100Mb "fast" ethernet.
If your switch is managed, you may be able to turn off auto-negotiation and set the port to 100M/full duplex.
Router: Deco AX3000 Model: X55 Pro Rated 2.5 GB
Modem: Nokia Model: XS-010X-Q (1GB Fiber)
Switch is TrendNet rated at 2.5 GB. Unmanaged. No mention of 100MB Fast
Everything in the LAN is rated a 2.5GB
I assumed that 100 MB fast would be included
I have not yet had time to open up the router management software and explore
I have connected the Ultra directly to the Modem, cutting out the LAN, and it still does not connect nor do the lights at the RJ45 socket flash indicating a handshake
In general, 2.5g multigig ports do not support fast ethernet so that's your problem. You need a cheap un-managed switch that supports 100Mb to put between the Roku and TrendNet switch.
