Connectivity issue with Roku TV

It seems this is an ongoing problem that they continually and PURPOSELY fail to acknowledge. There’s so many people on here that has paid good money for their tvs only to keep having it disconnect from our “excellent” WiFi signal(because that’s what your settings list shows after we enter the settings options 50 million times once it’s connected for the 2 minutes before it says no connection again!)We’ve complained and all I keep hearing/receiving is do a factory reset. Enough is enough. It’s time for them to start refunding people’s hard earned money back if they don’t want to fix this problem they created.

We appreciate you contacting us regarding connecting your Roku TV to your network. We are happy to help.

  • What Roku device are you using right now?
  • Is this the first time you set up this Roku TV/device? If not, when did the issue start?
  • Can your other devices connect to the network without any issues or latency?
  • Did we recently make any changes to your network or network provider?

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Power cycle the Roku device for 30 seconds
  2. Restart the router
  3. Perform a Network Connection Reset ok Roku device by navigating to Settings > Advance System Settings > Network connection reset > Reset connection
    • Note: Before doing make sure you know your WiFi credentials. 
  4. Connect the Roku device back to the internet.

You can connect your streaming device to a mobile hotspot as a temporary workaround to ensure there is no issue with your device.
