I have been a long time Roku device user.  Recently, while watching Roku TV it has been locking up at the end of commercial breaks, requiring a restart of the show and then being subjected to the commercial break again.  This only occurs with a Roku device streaming the Roku channel.  Please fix this problem soon, or we'll never use Roku devices or services again.  We have too many options for this kind of poor service to continue.

We would be more than happy to look into this issue, and we'll need more information. Can you please provide us with the following information:

• Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version. (These can all be found in Settings > System > About).
• Does this issue occur specifically on The Roku Channel? If so, what version/build is the channel? (This can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button).
• Tracker ID when this issue occurs. (When you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID).

Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate further.

It became worse. It now locks up and starts the show back to the beginning of show

Are you getting any error messages or error codes while trying to play a content? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? Also, can you please provide the information asked by @RokuJohnB?

I'm not being a wise guy asking this question. Are the Roku representatives here real people or AI? I'm asking because all of your responses regarding this concern are the same. It seems logical that any Roku technician should be able to fix this without serial numbers etc. My device is several years old and is the basic least expensive model. It operated flawlessly for years. So what did Roku change as it only happens on Roku channel.
