Re: ultimate Plus audio turns off sometimes after tv ad?

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community, @ponyboy865!

We understand that you are having trouble with your Roku device's audio. We're here to sort this out for you and get you back on uninterrupted streaming.

You may try rebooting your Roku device to bring it back to its normal operation. To be able to do that, follow the instructions below:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

If the troubleshooting steps provided above do not resolve the issue, you may try changing the HDMI cable on your Roku device. A defective HDMI cable can largely affect the audio quality of your Roku device as it transmits the audio connection to your TV and soundbar. Changing it might resolve the issue at hand.

Please let us know if this works for you.

All the best,
Emman

Re: ultimate Plus audio turns off sometimes after tv ad?

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, @ponyboy865!

We would also like to clarify which Roku device is affected by this issue and what software version your Roku is currently running. In the meantime, the best option is to connect a new HDMI cable to the device. Let us know if that resolves the issue you're experiencing.

We are eager to know the result.

All the best,
Emman
