sometimes my roku player loses audio after tv ads? have to unplug the roku and then audio comes back?
is my unit going bad? is my hdmi cable going bad?

If the troubleshooting steps provided above do not resolve the issue, you may try changing the HDMI cable on your Roku device. A defective HDMI cable can largely affect the audio quality of your Roku device as it transmits the audio connection to your TV and soundbar. Changing it might resolve the issue at hand.

Saturday i'm going to go buy a new hdmi cable thats 8k , if that doesn't work im going to go try and find your sound bar the one thats 5.1 but can't find them in any stores but amazon

We would also like to clarify which Roku device is affected by this issue and what software version your Roku is currently running. In the meantime, the best option is to connect a new HDMI cable to the device. Let us know if that resolves the issue you're experiencing.
