May we know what Roku device this issue occurs on? Also, have you tried unplugging and plugging back external devices just to reboot the devices? Lastly, have you also tried reaching out to the external device provider? They may be able to assist you with this one and provide initial troubleshooting steps, as they are the best ones who have sufficient information on their device's functionality.
