@RokuRiamie-D Thanks. I'll start taking the batteries out of the remote while I watch and let you know if it still happens.

@RokuRiamie-D It just happened with the batteries out of the only remote currently paired. The volume spontaneously got significantly louder (loud enough that the audio was slightly distorted). The TV volume did not change.

@RokuEmmanuel-D It happens infrequently enough (maybe once every 10-20 hours on average) that capturing it on video would be difficult. But I'll be watching without touching any remote and the volume will significantly increase or decrease spontaneously. The TV does not register a volume change. It will stay this way until I restart the app or do something to reset the audio like changing channels, rewinding and fast forward, etc.

We wanted to give you an update from our team.

Just a heads up, the volume can be in between different apps. Plus, it might change when you switch from a show to commercials while watching live TV on platforms like YouTube TV. 

In this situation, turning on the Volume leveling would help! 

Quick question: Does the volume fluctuate during the same show when nothing has really changed?

This occurs within the same app, within the same show without anything happening like going to a commercial. Sometimes it will get so loud that the audio is distorted, even after turning the TV volume down. Other times it will get so quiet you can barely hear it. When it happens I can just rewind a bit and it's back to normal, and it doesn't happen again at the same position.

I have tried volume leveling and that did not stop the problem from occurring.
