Ultra Roku 4k and Roku Express 4k

We have owned Roku Ultra 4k for a few years same time we purchased our LG4k tv we also use an Onkyo receiver and it worked great. It was great picture  great sound until a few months ago.. it started sticking then this weird buzzing sound and it recently stopped playing Netflix and YouTube. We tried EVERYTHING even using different cords, tried different hdmi inputs, updating apps removing and reinstalling apps reset to factory settings and even different wifi you name we tried it even spoke to a roku agent.  We purchased a new Roku Ultra 4k but experienced slow loading and nothing would stream. Sent that back purchased a Roku Express 4k it did not work either so we decided to use a regular roku express from a TV we knew that roku was working on hooked it up to our 4k and it has been working fine! This was a nightmare and I do not understand why none of the 4k boxes work on our 4ktv. Even though we can't use the fancy speaking remote atleast we can see our streaming and the picture is beautiful just like before. We put the roku 4k box on a regular HD tv and it works fine as well. I'm not sure what the deal it but the regular roku boxes are WAY cheaper than the 4k boxes and it delivers the same results.

  • Have you tried plugging the device into a different TV? Is it showing the same issue?
  • Also, have you attempted connecting the device to mobile data or a hotspot?
  • When did the problem occur?

For troubleshooting purposes, we suggest connecting your Roku device to a different wireless network, such as a mobile hotspot, to check if you are still experiencing the same issue.
