Sling wont run on my 4660x?

Jump to solution

Anyone with a 4660x running sling?  The latest sling tv app won't run on mine.   I get a black screen and a spinning circle. I get a different answer from every sling rep I contact.

Hi, @dlleno

Thanks for the post.

We see that you are having issues with the Sling app on your Roku device, and we're here to help. For this matter, let's perform a troubleshooting step to resolve the issue. Kindly follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
  2. Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
  3. Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.
