@Why-PuckYou, mine are frozen for a few moments during the changeover, but restore as soon as the commercial is over (if not sometimes during) at least on my android devices, no restarts necessary.

Wanted to leave a note @RokuCarly,
Looks like SlingTV Version 8.133 build 17290 fixed the issues with working on at least my 4670x, (I've not had a chance to test the higher-end 4K Ultra, but I assume it's probably also fixed).
I saw the big update, tried it, and it bounced back and forth between the familar black screen/spinning circle to one with an add for Freeform Free TV channels, and back, and kept doing this for a while, a reboot didn't fix it, so I removed the app, rebooted the Roku again, added the app back, rebooted it once more (out of an abundence of caution) and then tried it, and it finally bounced to a live TV channel and allowed me to sign in! Seems to be working as intended now, amazed how good the quality on DVRd content is!
Now if only their AirTV2 box wasn't a piece of **bleep**, waiting on delivery of an HDHomerun box.

Since I created this support ticket in the first place, I should probably be the one to mark this ticket as resolved if, in fact, it is resolved. So far, this still isn't working for me.

Thanks for checking in. Please be informed that your concern with Sling TV accessibility has already been coordinated with our relevant team for review, and this is currently still under investigation.
As of the moment, we don't have further updates yet. In the meantime, could you please try to check for any available software updates under Settings > System > Software update > Check Now?

@RokuCarlysince 10/9/2024, I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Sling a few times but that hasn't resolved anything for me. I have not tried doing a factory reset of my Roku since it really is annoying having to log into all of the services again.

In the evening of 10/22/2024 I tried opening Sling TV and it started working again.
I hadn't noticed any updates. Roku says the last system update was on 10/9/2024 and the Sling app is showing version 8.132, build 17195. Maybe Sling has updated since I last checked after 10/9/2024 and before 10/22/2024, but I don't recall the details of the version numbers during that time.
Anyway, it's working again. This can be "closed" as far as I'm concerned.
