Sling has taken over ROKU

I started having the same issue today. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling YouTube tv, but it keeps trying to get me to exit the app. Simply clicking on the option not to exit does nothing. Then when I try to go back to Home, the sling add app message pops up and you can’t exit out of it.

We understand you're having trouble with the YouTube TV and Sling TV channels. We're happy to help. Please try restarting your Roku device by going to settings, system, power, and system restart. (If there is no power option, skip to the next step.)

@NC4 does your remote have a Sling button? If so, perhaps something is caught in the button causing it to be stuck.
