Hi - I found that disconnecting the power source, was the only fix. As a tech dummy, this is my usual solution to any such problem. There might have been a more sophisticated solution, but I did not receive guidance from Roku. After weeks of having to do so dozens of times, the buzz has not returned (knock on wood). Good luck with yours - it is obnoxious! Jeff

Hey! Was anyone able to figure this out? I decided to upgrade from my 2016 insignia roku tv to a new insignia with a separate roku hd box. Pleased with the upgrade but frustrated with this issue. Thinking of returning and getting a different model.
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
It Worked!
Many thanks to Ranchr !!!
Thanks for the solution I had upgraded to ultra after a Roku email offer. I had buzzing on differing TV’s every time I went back to the Roku after it hibernated. This was the only solution.
From the Roku home screen, go to Settings -> Audio -> HDMI.
The default setting is Auto Detect. When I changed this setting to Auto Passthrough, the problem goes away.
shame Roku has not acknowledged this issue and sent out an update.
I’m experiencing this same issue about 2 times per week. Multiple restarts and changes in cables have not resolved this issue.
Any new details on this?https://youtu.be/OJG51yxa6q8
