Once I went into settings and changed it from auto-detect to any of the other settings I have had no reoccurrence of the noise in over a month.
THANK YOU!!!! We bought multiple ROKU Ultra 2020's and it only did this on one older TV. ROKU needs to pay you!!!
Mine started doing this when the new update happened March 7th update. I applied the auto passthrough. So hope this works.
Yes same issue, only after sleep. Sounds like an alarm. Shrill bussing noise. Never happened with my stick. New model 4800X. Sn: S02A209EJ6UN

I have a brand new roku ultra out of the box. I noticed the high pitch noise and and started to Google and found this thread. Took the audio off of auto detection and it did go away. But few days later I noticed it is doing the noise again. What now? Lol
