Roku Ultra 2022 loud electrical/buzzing sound when waking from standby
The only way to stop noise is to unplug the Roku.
how to fix?
That's not good.
Let's try something. We're troubleshooting now, not exactly fixing. Just trying to figure out the cause. Then the fix.
Force an update from Settings > System > Update ...
Then do a restart. Settings > System > Restart ...
If it continues, check the power settings, if your device has that (not all do). Settings > System > Power ...
If it's still happening, unplug, then remove the HDMI cable from the Roku, then power up. No, you won't be able to see anything, but does the buzzing still happen?

I have updated the Roku ultra and unchecked the box saying after 20 minutes of no interaction. I have restarted. I will have to wait until it does it again.
the sound is coming from the tv speakers not from the Roku box

Try a different HDMI port. Does the issue follow to the new port?

I am an integrator and have multiple ones showing this same issue. Some connected through an AVR some directly to tv. All settings updated. High quality hdmi cables input makes no difference.
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
