After showing boot screen (bouncing ROKU) on my 4K streaming device, my tv then shows no input device found. Is this a defective unit? If so how do I get it replaced?
Hi @mlm661,
Warm greetings from the Roku Community, and thanks for flagging us about this.
Could you tell us what Roku device you are using right now? Have you tried using another HDMI cable to see if you're still seeing the same issue? If possible, could you share with us a screenshot of the issue you're seeing? We'd like to take a closer look.
We'll be looking forward to your update.
Thanks,
Rey
I am having the same issue as well.
The device will power on, get the bouncing Roku screen and then go blank and show no input on the TV.
What I have tested:
I have another TV with the same Roku device, so I swapped the two devices, the issue still persists. The other device work fine with the other TV.
I am using the provided HDMI and power adapter that came with the device.
I have test on a 3rd TV and the issue still persists.
I have reset the device and after resting nothing comes up, not even the bouncing Roku device.
S/N: SOHAK2A3NJX9
Model: 3941x2
I purchased the device back in May of 2023
I am guessing there will be no help or solution to this problem.
Thanks for keeping us posted @rfp622 @mlm661,
May we know how you are powering your device? Is it directly through a power outlet or a power strip? Additionally, have you tried using a different HDMI cord or input on your TV?
Let us know so we'll be able to assist further and proceed to the necessary steps to address this.
All the best,
Kash
I power it through an outlet, I have tried numerous adapters including the one that says ROKU, I have also tried 3 HDMI cables, including the one supplied by ROKU.
Also tried 2 different HDMI ports on the TV
Thanks for providing the additional information, @mlm661
