I watch Youtubetv through a Roku streaming stick. Instructions for using the play/pause button when in the live guide, to return to the program you were watching begins at 0.17 seconds in this video:

Until the other day, when switching from watching a live show to the live guide, I was able to return to the show by double clicking the play/ pause button on the Roku remote. If there is another way to return to a show when in the live guide, other than scrolling back to the channel in the live guide, or clicking at the very top of the live guide, I'd love to hear about it.
