None of my apps will Load

Jump to solution

I just upgraded my internet to 500M Fiber, I have a Deco XE760 Pro System. My TCL TV connects to the internet. I have it set for 2.4Hz and even tried it on the guest network.
My issue is I cannot load any apps. They start to load and the go back to the Main TCL Roku Screen. These apps worked fine prior to my internet upgrade.  Is there a setting I’m missing? I have tried removing the Hulu app and adding it back on, removed the connection and tried putting it on the guest connection. None of my apps will load. ESPN, BTN+, Disney+, Apple TV, Netflix, etc. they all start to load then shut off and return to the main Roku screen.

Hi @Gwenilla,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We would be more than willing to assist you with your TCL Roku TV, which keeps playing back to the Roku Home screen when you try to play any channels.

Let's see if this will work for you. Kindly follow the troubleshooting steps below.

  • Restart your Roku device:
To restart your Roku device, you can either unplug the power cable, wait a moment, and then reconnect it. Or you can use the following steps to restart it from the Settings menu.
  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart
  • Reset the network connection:
  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select Advanced System settings
  4. Select Network connection reset
  5. Select Reset connection

After the network reset is done, your Roku device will restart and you will need to return to the Settings menu and set up your wireless network again.

We hope you find this information helpful. Please keep us posted.

I use this app on my iPhone and iPad with no problems. It is only on the Roku that is giving me issues.
