Please fix the problem of no mpeg2 live broadcast, or recorded playback on Roku v14.0.4, it doesn't matter which of the 3 models I use. Mpeg4 streaming and recording still works fine.

Same as the others. Works on 1 tv but not the other 3. All on Roku, all 14.0 upgrade. Take us back to 13.0. Thank You!

for what it’s worth, a temporary solution I found is to use the HDMI output (Tablo Legacy model… Not sure about 4 Gen) and connect to an available TV input.

It’s a little bit more cumbersome by having to use an additional remote and there is no connectivity to other televisions, but it does work in my situation.

  5. Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
    • Checked for updates on both Tablo and Roku. Did a system restart on Roku. Was going to do a factory reset of Tablo, but then I came across the thread about this issue on the Roku community website and saw that a lot of people were having the same issue and that a factory reset didn’t resolve the issue.
  6. Description of the exact behavior of the issue:
    • Everything was working perfectly earlier in the day on Friday, October 18, 2024, but Roku updated software on that date at 4:55pm CDT to version 14.0.4, and since then, I haven’t been able to watch recorded programs or live tv on Tablo 4th Gen.

How is it solved if I still can't watch antenna TV channels or any recordings? Tablo TV customer support said the fix is in your lap. All of this is so unprofessional considering we all paid money for both your devices!

We even bought a NEW Tablo after 3 days of not being able to watch live nework T.V., thinking the Tablo was not working properly.

Roku OS 14.0.4 Issues with Tablo TV Solved (for now)

Someone in another Roku forum found the issue was with audio in Roku OS 14.0.4.
Go to Settings->Audio->Digital Output Format->Custom on your Roku.
Change the Dolby Digital selection (I went from Dolby Digital to Dolby Digital Plus with DTS off).
Exit out of Roku Settings, and select Tablo.
I did this on a Roku Ultra (Model 4660X) and was able to watch OTA tv again (with Roku OS 14.04)!
