Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'

This didn’t solve the issue for me. First I had this issue with Apple TV and now I have the same issue with Discovery+.

Welcome @anbarber,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your concerns with the Apple TV and Discovery Plus apps. We would like to take a closer look at this issue.

Please provide us with the following:

  • What is the exact error that is displayed on the TV screen?
  • Please provide us a photo of the displaying error
How do I insert an image in a post?
  • Does this issue only happen on Apple TV and Discovery Plus apps?

We look forward to your response.

Re: Not Enough Memory and saying Remove Apps. Tv will not open any apps or play any channels. Need t

I don't know what's going on, but it's getting frustrating, paying too much monthly for no service.

@fdancy2620 What model of Roku do you have?  Have you tried doing a system restart or unplugging the device for 60 seconds to clear the cache?

Re: Not Enough Memory and saying Remove Apps. Tv will not open any apps or play any channels. Need t

Welcome @fdancy2620,

Thanks for letting us know that you're having an error "Not Enough Memory" on your Roku device. No worries, we are here to help you with this.

Before we continue, we would like to know the model of your Roku device and when this issue started. In the meantime, we recommend you try to restart your Roku device by following the steps below:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

Your Roku device will complete a system restart and should return to normal operation after a moment. If the issue continues, please let us know.

For more help, please visit our Roku support article: How to fix "Can't run channel" and "Insufficient memory" error messages.

We look forward to your response.

Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'

I restarted the system and it worked like a charm!  Thank you!

Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'

I followed the directions to restart. Once up, it says "Can't open app - Youtube could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network conne ction and try again.

Please note, I did NOT uninstall Youtube. I just restarted Roku as per directions.

Re: Not enough space error message

Hi. My YouTube app won't work on the TV. It worked just fine until this morning. Without making any changes, it claims there "is not enough space" and suggested that I "remove apps" in order to make space. I have removed about six apps, (even though I did not want to) turned off and turned back on my TV. I am still geting the same message from YouTube. And then it gives me a support address, which does not have any information for this problem, which I can find. I do not see where it says, "Viewing issue, based on false information about a space problem." I have followed the directions, removed apps I wanted, tried to restart YouTube app back to normal, and - nothing- same message to "Remove apps" as a solution to make space, which did not work. I feel that I could remove everything on-screen and YouTube would still deliver that message. Help! Any ideas? Thanks!
