Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'
I have been experiencing this issue every couple of days requiring me to restart several time. We've had Roku for years and NEVER experienced this. If we keep having to remove apps, we'll have nothing left. We literally only have 4-5 currently loaded. Why the sudden, frequent error messages?

Re: Not Enough Memory and saying Remove Apps. Tv will not open any apps or play any channels. Need t
What you describe is typically a symptom of the Roku memory cache getting corrupted. Clearing the memory cache should cure the problem.
The easiest way to do this is to RESTART your Roku. (For Roku TV users reading this: if you have "Fast TV start" enabled, turning the TV off and back on just puts it into and out of a standby state and does NOT give you a complete restart.)
Depending on your Roku model you'll find the "System restart" option under "Settings > System > Power", or on models without a Power option, under "Settings > System".
If a restart doesn't do it, or if you don't have sufficient control with the remote to navigate the Roku menus, you can also restart by pulling the power plug to the Roku for a few seconds then plugging it back in and waiting for it to restart.
I am not a Roku employee, only a user like you. Please, no support questions via private message -- post them publicly to the Community where others may benefit as well.

Thank you, this helped. It is still loading slowly though. I deleted a bunch of channels. I was looking for where the remove or delete cache was and couldn't find it. From now on I will use system restart. My concern is why is it still loading so slow.

Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'
I tried this and it didn’t solve the issue. I only have 1 app downloaded. I did a factory reset multiple times and that didn’t help at all.

This solution worked. However, the apps still load quite slowly. And, the process knocked off the Sling app which needed to be found and installed again. Good luck.

Hi-neither of these fixes worked for me. Also I have deleted apps but still can't load SLING TV.

Welcome to the Roku Community, @nwahnish!
We understand that you're having trouble streaming the Sling TV app. I'd be more than happy to help you sort this out.
Could you please let us know if you're only experiencing this issue with the Sling TV app? If so, you may visit this support article to help you troubleshoot: How to resolve a channel playback issue.
In addition, if all channels are affected, you may try rebooting your router or resetting your network connection to see if that helps you resolve the issue.
Furthermore, if the issue still persists, please let us know, and we will help you further.
All the best,
Emman

Re: Not Enough Memory and saying Remove Apps. Tv will not open any apps or play any channels. Need t
I have unplugged the HDMI and the power twice. The last time for about 2 minutes and as soon as I plugged it in the message below started showing up in the upper right corner. I did not select any apps and cannot do anything. The screen is black and then it shows the message below. About 2 minutes ago, since I've been writing this message The screen has gone totally black.
"The app will now restart to free up more memory. "
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
