I have 2 Roku devices.
On device one I go to watch the weather channel and it tells me that I need to sign in.
I go online and enter the appropriate information and am told that the connection was successful, but when I go back the the Roku device, it does get the update and start the program????
So I am unable to watch the channel.
But I can watch on Device two
Again on device one, I try to watch Fox News and I get to the first screen, but when I go into the channel, it gets to 13% and no more.
I can go into Fox weather, but not news?
Again I can access on device two????
I have tried resetting device one to no avail...
I can watch other streaming channels with no issue???
PLEASE help
THANKS Ken

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by here in the Roku Community, @menkemdlax.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'd like to take a closer look at the channel playback issue you're currently experiencing.
We need more precise details as to what you're running into at the moment, and we are humbly asking for the following information below:
- What specific channel is having a playback issue?
- How are you accessing this channel? Inside The Roku channel or on a standalone app?
- What specific Roku device/TV is experiencing the problem?
- Did you receive any recent software update that might trigger this issue? If so, can you please provide the latest software version of your Roku?
- How far is your Roku device from the router?
- What other specific troubleshooting you have done so far?
We are working hard to get you back to watching what you love, and by providing additional details, you're helping us get an in-depth insight into your concern.
In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps provided below to see if it makes any difference:
- Restart your Router. Unplug the router from the power source, then plug it back in after a few seconds.
- To remove the channel. Highlight the App, press the Star * button on your Roku remote, and click Remove App.
- Reboot your System. Navigate to Settings > System > Power (Skip Power if you don't have an option), then proceed to System Restart.
- Reinstall the channel. Find the channel using the search option on your Home Screen or go directly to the Streaming Store; once the channel is found, click the App, then select Add channel. After adding the channel, relaunch it to see if it resolves the issue.

Re: Channel partially loads but will not run Aug 22 2024
I tried removing the channels and reinstalling with no change
The model is3930X S/N S008318TTF5 (I think, hard to read)
Channels
The Fox news channel
the channel opens but fox news and fox business will not open... Fox weather will open
The Weather channel
The channel keeps asking me to log in with weathergroup.com\activate and enter the code
I enter the code and am told that it works, but nothing happens...
No recent updates that I am aware of.
The router is close enough that all other channels work fine...
