My tv comes on and Roku menu is shown, but when I select the icon for Direct tv streaming it won’t connect

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you have encountered when opening the DIRECTV channel on your Roku device, and we're here to help. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can perform to resolve the issue. Kindly follow the steps in order to get the best results.
- Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
- Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
- Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.

Check your internet connection
Make sure you're connected to your home Wi-Fi network and that your internet speed meets DIRECTV's requirements. You can test your signal strength using your remote by going to Home > Settings > Network > Check Connection. You can also restart your modem/router by unplugging it for 1 minute and plugging it back.
