Streaming Stick 4K setup issues
After setting up my Roku Streaming Stick 4K, the system only displays a limited menu on the TV with only 3 selections:
Home
Streaming Apps
Settings
The only two apps that show are Netflix and AppleTV. The Roku channel store shows Prime and Disney are installed but they don’t appear.
I also want to add other apps like Paramount, etc but the channel store has the install button greyed out. And from the TV menu, when I select Streaming Apps from the menu, I can’t search for new apps…I can only scroll through.
I’m installing the device in Canada so not a geography issue.
Looking for guidance.

Re: Streaming Stick 4K setup issues
Did you create your Roku account while you were in Canada and not using a VPN or anything else that could mask your true location? If you log into your Roku account at https://my.roku.com and then go to https://channelstore.roku.com does the country that's shown in the right corner of the very bottom of the page say Canada?

Re: Streaming Stick 4K setup issues
Hi renojim
Much thanks for the suggestion. When I checked the country on the channelstore page, for some reason it was set for the United States. I changed it to Canada and decided to start again. I deleted the Streaming Stick 4K from my account and factory reset the actual Streaming Stick 4K.
I then proceeded with a fresh install and everything seemed to go well until the end. Same issue as before. Only three menu choices - <Home> <Steaming Apps> <Settings> and the only apps are Netflix and AppleTV.
I then went to the channelstore and found the country setting had been changed back to the United States. And In terms of the apps, it shows that along with Netflix and AppleTV, Disney, Prime and the Roku Channel are also installed but as mentioned above only Netflix and AppleTV are available. All other apps have the <+Add app> installation button greyed out.
I've changed the country back to Canada but no effect. I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

Re: Streaming Stick 4K setup issues
@hatz, close the current Roku account you have:
How to close your Roku® account | Official Roku Support
Once you do that, use a different browser, a different device, clear your browser's cookies, or use a private/incognito browser window and then create your Roku account again. Any of those should do, so pick whichever one is easiest for you. It's probably data saved by your browser that has associated your Roku account to the wrong region.
