Roku IP control from 3rd party controller
Hello all, I am trying to send some basic commands to a Roku with a 3rd party controller. I have tried setting the network access to both "Permissive" and to "Enabled" with no success. I am testing in Hercules, using the proper IP address and port 8060. I can query the Roku in a web browser so I know I am talking to it from that standpoint. In Hercules my exact send command is: POST /keypress/Down HTTP/1.1<cr><cr>
This returns:
Request
Server: Roku/14.1.4 UPnP/1.0 Roku/14.1.4
Content-Length: 0
Again, seems like I am talking to it, but... keypress down does not happen on the screen when I do this. I have tried up, ok and home, all yielding the same results. I do not know what the box is telling me in the above return other than it at least knows I am talking to it. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thank you
Alan
