Hey all. I bought a Roku Stick 4k a year ago. From the start, it caused my LG TV to not communicate with - and not wake up - my Yamaha soundbar. I think this is a known, yet uncommon issue. It has still not been fixed via any software updates.
The internet's advice was to buy a CEC-stripping adapter. That worked, as far as waking up my soundbar when the TV is powered on. But now I'm having issues where I can't get surround sound. Some apps that have their own audio settings say the Roku doesn't support 5.1, which it should.
Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Anything would be appreciated.
