Roku not connecting on Samsung or LG
I’m having a strange issue with a couple of my Roku’s. Yesterday morning the roku’s I have hooked up with an LG and Samsung will not connect. I was able to get an old roku to connect to a viso but when I swapped the rokus to put the connected one to our LG. We had no connection once again. Has anyone had these issues?
the roku driven TVs in my children’s room work perfects fine just the rokus hooked up with our Samsung and LG TVs will not connect

Re: Roku not connecting on Samsung or LG
Hi @Cassiekeszei,
We are glad to have you here in the Roku Community!
We want to investigate this issue you're experiencing further. Can you please provide the following information?
- What Roku device are you using right now? (e.g., Roku Express, Roku Streambar, Roku TV—specify TV)
- How are you powering your Roku device? Is it directly plugged into the wall outlet or a power strip?
- Have you tried switching HDMI outputs at the back of your TV to see if that will fix the problem?
For troubleshooting purposes, verify that the TV has its HDMI CEC enabled in its settings. (Use your TV remote, not the Roku remote, to go into the TV settings to enable this).
Then go to your Roku device and enable 1-touch Play under Settings > System > Control other devices > 1-Touch Play> [Checkmark to Enable].
Refer to the list of TV brands for CEC-related settings.
Please keep us updated on your progress.
Thanks,
Chel
