Roku device not taking me through setup process- TV and my account still think it’s my old roku

I am switching to a newer different Roku model (Express 4k+). When I plugged it in it was already acting set up and was logged into my account. I deleted the device from my account and then connected this new one manually. When I go into system info, the serial number and model are not correct. It seems as if the TV and account think it is still the old roku device (old roku ultra). The switch was made in order to allow compatibility with Hulu again. It is claiming the model is 4400x - Roku 4. Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated, this is quite frustrating.

On the Roku in question, does Settings > System > About show the email address associated with your Roku account?
