Roku Player on Enterprise Network - Installing SSL certificate for firewall SSL / TLS inspection
Hello all -
Have a question about installing a third party certificate into a Roku player's trusted certificate authority ... is it possible? I have an exec that wants to run a Roku Ultra (4660X) on the big screen in his office, to get out to the internet from our network the packets have to be inspected at our firewall. Is it possible to install a our firewall SSL/TLS inspection certificate onto a Roku player as a trusted certificate?
Thank you for your assistance!

I'm also looking for a method to do this. SSL decryption / inspection is becoming much more widespread.

Re: Roku Player on Enterprise Network - Installing SSL certificate for firewall SSL / TLS inspection
I know of no ability to add such a certificate to a Roku player. The Roku OS is a highly modified version of Linux, and there is no ability for a user to alter anything within the control of the OS. The internal security functions would fall into that area. Roku keeps that completely walled off from user access.
