I bought an Element Roku TV today used.
I have logged in using my wifi and also my mobile hotspot. It will say there is an update available and that once the update is installed it will restart. I left the TV on for over 2 hours when I went to visit family and, when I got home, it was still on the Network screen.
I have tried pressing the home, back, Netflix, Disney+ etc. Buttons and nothing happens. I cannot reset the tv as, even when I turn it off, the settings button is not available to me. I'm at a loss here and just want the tv to work.
I did restart my wifi router, as well. Like I said I tried both my wifi router and then my mobile hotspot on my phone. If you have any answers to this, please help me 🙃
It also doesn't do anything if I put "Connect to the internet later". It just stays on the "choose your network screen". It *does* say there is an update but after I press ok nothing happens.
Edit to say;; I found the reset button and that did successfully work. Thank you for the answer and sorry for the quick post! It's for a 2 and 3 year olds bedroom and, honestly, I was worried I'd just wasted money and wouldn't get any sort of break 😅
Try a Factory Reset:
Simply use the RESET option (a pin hole) on the back of the TV which is located just above the HDMI port. Use a pin and press & hold it for 30-60 seconds for the TV to Reset and Restart
