It has that capability but I am struggling with doing that. Thanks!
I will say I will never buy another Vizio. Never!
What model of Vizio do you have? I will look up the manual and see if I can help walk you through it, if I can find the manual that is.
I purchased it in Feb 2020. The Model # is D43fx-F4. Serial #LHBFVNMV2901038.
I just went into the Menu settings under Input and managed to mark as "hidden" any inputs that are unused. I have a question. Will that stop the tv from going to other inputs or is it just hidden from my view? You see, I don't really understand what "hidden" means in this case.
Here's a manual:

Renaming inputs is on page 32. I didn't see hiding them though. I don't think I'd hide any myself. I'd be afraid that I'd add devices later and not remember how I hid them. 😀 But to each his own.
Thank you. Appreciate it so much.
Looks like Strega beat me to it and found the manual. When I skimmed the manual, I didn't see any special setup needed for the TV, so you should be able to plug in your Roku to a spare HDMI port, which should be labeled HDMI 1, 2, 3, arc or something to that effect. Note which one you plug into and then select that input on the TV. You can label it so it reflects the Roku and then it should be a matter of plugging the Roku into power and hitting the home button and if you have the correct input on the TV selected, it should come up.
I've dona all of that over and over. I don't know, but I read somewhere that some tv's have a computer that cannot handle all of this.
I can get it up and running, but then after it sits for awhile you have to unplug the tv and plug it back in again. It works fine again until I turn it off again.
My LG in the family room works great with the Roku Ultra. I have another tv with a Roku Express that works great. It's just this blasted Vizio that doesn't seem to be able to keep working without unplugging and plugging back in. By the way, I read just lately that Walmart bought Vizio.
I'm not interested in having it worked on. I'll just eventually replace this one with a smart tv. I'm so tired of trying to get it going. I thought it was me, but I really don't think so.
It would be a long shot but you could reach out to Vizio tech support and see if they can provide any help.
