- Starting the app on the iphone gets stuck at the purple load screen

Also have a 7 & it works on my wife's 11, you do anything to get it to work?
I have the same issue with my iPhone 7 and iPad but a have just installed on a newer iPad and it works - all devices on the same release of iOS.
Same for me. The freeze only happens after I go to Lock Screen and back to app. Reboot iPhone fixes it until Lock Screen.

Roku mobile app version 9.4.0
What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to reproduce this issue - It is 100% reproducible. I open the app, I get the Roku purple screen. I see a moving circle for 15 seconds and then get the something went wrong / try again message. Pressing Try Again does nothing. I have tested with my VPN and my VPN off. I have tested on wifi as well as a cellular connection. I have deleted the Roku App and restored it. Nothing helps. I did a screen recording here if you would like to see.
Yes breaks every time. Open app, do what you want, lock phone, go back into app. Locks up.version 9.4.0 and a bunch of numbers , it says latest version
I can't do that since the app "breaks" every time / gets stuck on the something went wrong screen. When I leave the app and come back, it's still stuck on the something went wrong screen. There's nothing to click on and no other info on the screen.
