I recently moved to a new place and got a new wifi and network for my Roku. I have gone in and changed the network and it says a strong connection however when i try to use the Roku App it constantly says that it’s not on the same network when it is? I’ve done a system reset and even tried connecting manually but the app states “the Roku device was not found at this address”
please help!

It is not it’s my own private wifi
I assume you're using a router supplied by your ISP? Some routers have a security setting that keeps Wi-Fi connected devices from communicating with each other. One user reported that he had to enable uPnP on his Spectrum (I believe) supplied router to get the app to discover his Roku device.
