My sister keeps turning off my tv through her phone on the Roku mobile app. I already disabled ‘Control by mobile apps’ on my tv but for some reason she’s still able to connect to my tv and turn it off while I’m using it. Is there any way I could disconnect my tv from the mobile app on her phone. I can’t go through her phone so I need to do it on either my tv or on my phone. PLEASE HELPP

We understand that you would like to unlink the Roku Mobile App from your sister's phone. We'd like to investigate and help you out. Hi @toomanytimes,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
I will be more than willing to provide you with the step-by-step process for disabling the Roku mobile app from being connected to your Roku Express.
There is a Control by mobile apps setting on your Roku device that when disabled, prevents the Roku mobile app and any third-party app from communicating with your Roku device. When this setting is disabled, you must use your Roku remote and enable the setting again using the following steps:

Can you share the steps to do this on Roku Express (3900 series) , Software Version 13.1.4 build 1510-ED? Is it possible? I have a similar problem and I cannot access the other user's device.

@RokuRiamie-D Thanks for your reply. I already chose 'disable' and the mobile app continues to have access. I restarted the Roku and the app still has access. I do not have access to the device with the app, so I cannot make any changes to that phone.
This does not work. I've have tried everything from disabling mobile apps, turning off Airplay, changing passwords and still if someone has the Roku app remote on their phone they can control your tv. I even have the tv on a private, separate network. Nothing fixes it. Please help and get this feature removed.
