My Roku is connected to one network, while my cellphone's WiFi is on a different one.

Jump to solution

As a former Cisco employee, I have both Ethernet and wireless networks set up in my home, with devices organized based on mobility. My Roku, which doesn’t need to be mobile, is on the Ethernet network, while my WiFi operates separately.

I’m trying to connect my cellphone to the Roku. It worked before on my Nexus 4, but after upgrading to a Nexus 6, I can no longer enter the Roku's IP address in the app. What am I missing?

Hey, @SuzanBowen.

It's great to have you here!

Have you also tried removing the Roku App and reinstalling it back again to see if it'll do the trick?
