I've been working on a Roku channel with Direct publisher and Wordpress with WP smart tv . I keep getting an error (The server returned a non-200 status code - (404).) I was wondering if it has anything to do with iPage hosting my site. Is there something that keeps this from working? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. I would love to get this fixed.

I had a similar problem. I could not make the direct publisher wordpress wp smart tv plugin work either. Does anyone have a test JSON feed url or know where I could find one. After many tries at solving the problem I decided to ask someone with experience about where to find a test JSON feed and imformation on creating one for an rss feed. Thanks

In version 1.4 (coming later this week) I'm including a button so you can download a JSON feed file, then use it on one of the free services that host JSON files. This should clear up a lot of the issues with shared hosting blocking the feed from being processed.
Wouldn't that still be an issue as your graphics files (and SRT files, BIF files, etc) are still being hosted on your WP provider? (BTW, will 1.4 allow for external URLs for these files?)
FWIW, I've frozen my jetpack version since I installed 1.3.1. Last time I updated it it, it crashed my WP site and I had to restore from a backup.

I presumed the jetpack plugin wasn't 100% compatible with my version of WP, or had a conflict with another plugin. Thus far, there have been no issues with the old version of JetPack. Perhaps I'll disable the jetpack plugin, add external URLs to My Videos, and see if I get an all good on the feed status form roku.com.
