Let's try to put this misconception to rest. Roku partner Success states that the limitation is:
25 Categories (row) 40 items per category (row)
"Items" does not imply "videos". Obviously, you can have a "Series" on a specific row. And, that Series may have many episode videos. So implying that the maximum number of videos is 1,000 is misleading.

For those Vimeo users who are struggling with "showcases", please read the discussion from the thread Vimeo showcase and multiple categories. You'll see that there is a workaround to combining the Json feeds that are generated from a showcase into a single Json feed file. This means that you can have one channel with multiple showcase feeds.
