Keep in mind that if you got a 1099-K (one of the most useless statements I've ever received) it includes everything Roku collected on the dates they collected it. It doesn't reflect the payments you received (or when you received them) at all. You have to enter an adjustment when you file your taxes to reflect the reality of what you actually received in the tax year.
I haven't received USD payments either.
The largest payment, usually $USD is sometimes the last one they issue, at worst 1 day later than the others but almost always later in the same day.
The issue with ever-decreasing revenues, in my opinion it's directly related to the suppression of Channel Store listings. Where they used to focus on Channels, the search grid mostly brings up Corporate Content now, ie Hollywood, and you might not be able to find something like Cooking With Hillybilly Bob (just made this up) or the Many homebrew channels run by people trying to get their piece. The audience is there. The channels are there. Something is getting between them.
Maybe try submitting a search feed JSON file with some of your best content and that should help bring in viewers if Roku shows those items in the store grid.
Yeah, I got a USD today for $99. Should have been closer to $3,000 according to my rev share estimate. Hopefully it will come through but usually it’s still short anyway, but never this much. I just need them to be more accurate so I can budget licensing content more accordingly.
That sounds to me like a residual payment probably from collections from a previous month. Check the subject line of the payment e-mail for clues, and stay ahead of your finances a few months. Roku isn't going to run your business or worry about fees you have to pay. Oh, and be nice when talking to the Partner Success reps... I think the nicer I've been the quicker I got answers to any questions I've asked them. The only other option is to go pound sand for a while until those glorious revenue payments arrive.
Just got usd. It’s low but at least they paid something. Sent email to partner success about discrepancy with actual sales versus payment amount.
It would be easier to budget and balance if the payouts were not off between $600-$1,200 monthly. Last 7 years, no problem, my balances added up with rev share deposits exactly. It wasn’t until Jan 24 is when payments started being off $600-$1,200 per month. Even then I was making it work until they moved from 30 days to 60 days. That started a domino effect that I have yet to recover from. But thanks for the free advice.
The move to NET~60 hit like a torpedo for a lot of people. It takes 6 months of pain to recover from something like that if you're not prepared.
Good luck.
