I read online that if your remote gets water damage, you should place it in a well-ventilated/warm area and remove the batteries. However, the LiPo battery cannot be replaced, so I'm unsure what to do. Can anyone offer advice?
No need to replace your Roku. But odds are you should simply buy a replacement remote. Depending on the damage, your remote may simply be beyond repair. Some people have used uncooked white rice as a way to draw the moisture out of a device (place it in a bowl with the rice and cover it for a couple of days). But that simply removes the moisture, and if something has actually been damaged it won't fix that.
A replacement Voice Remote Pro is $30, and odds are you can find one at a nearby Best Buy or other retailer that sells Roku products and not have to wait for one to arrive. Amazon doesn't appear to have any available for one day delivery either. They're showing a delivery date no earlier than April 19.
