I do not use the hands free.function. I don't want it listening to me all the time.  Tjisbwpuld be the entire reason to have the slide switch off and on feature.

However, when ever it's off roku send out a message every 20 secs to remind you to turn it on.....

How do I disable the "hands-free disabled" message WITHOUT turning this feature on

I have been seeking the answer to this question since I mistakenly bought this remote.

That message shouldn't be repeatedly coming up.  I have the switch in the off position and I think I only see it when I reboot and I'm not even sure about that.  Try flicking the switch on and off a few times.

I tried that. I also did a factory reset and the message returns every 25 seconds

This chain started in 2021 and there still no answer. Where are the moderators in this board! Same problem, just srarted on my remote and it is $&@“!? Annoying
