Mine has been dying after two days is there a fix???
No
Very disappointed, spent almost more replacing batteries over the past year than the actual cost of Ruku remote and USB. I have three Ruku remotes with this same issue..
Help? Ruku I know many, many other people feel the same..
Please advise, thank you.
I see a lot of people are complaining about this problem. Has there been a solution to rectify it. I have gone through so many batteries. Now I take them out when not in use. I am having trouble finding help.
My remote goes through batteries every two days now... I rarely use the darn thing and haven't had it for 7 months. I've been buying batteries every few weeks to use the remote. This is becoming ridiculous.
If the Roku isn't a "stick" you can "downgrade" to an IR remote (cheapest Roku, compatible from eBay, or third party like oneforall brand. Problem solved.
Otherwise, problems can be caused if there are lots of electrical noise nearby, many WiFi signals nearby, or remote is further away from TV. Store remote close to TV, not in a case or drawer. That way the remote will keep connected more easily (remote links to roku all the time if roku is on). And try to turn roku completely off when not using.
Thanks for the posts and providing me with your information.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts.
As stated previously in this thread, if you are experiencing an issue with remote battery drain, please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
