Volume up switches input and volume down changes aspect ratio

I have a sharp tv. My remote turns my tv on and off, no problem. When I hit the volume up on my Roku remote, it switches input to a screen saying enjoy your stored content. I have to exit out of it with my actual tv remote. When I hit the volume down, it changes the tv aspect ratio/display setting. I have tried changing the hdmi-cec settings on my tv and Roku, reconnecting my remote, restarting the Roku, and performed a factory reset and the problems still persist. What can I do to make it work so I don’t have to keep up with both remotes?

Thank you for the response. I have tried that several times. I can hear sound with all codes 1 through 30 but still does the same thing when I hit a volume button.

I shared the remote model in an earlier response. It is model RC833.
I finally decided it was the remote so swapped the remote and stick with one I bought a little after for my bedroom TV. I reconfigured both and no more issue. One that would not work right on Sharp TV works on Vizio TV and Vizio one works on Sharp TV. One year and HOURS of troubleshooting and now working. There was a glitch with the first remote or stick, so problem solved, try a new Roku.  Thank you for the suggestions, made me think a little out of the box.

Same problem with my Sharp TV. Volume up button takes me to same screen described above and have to exit TV settings with Sharp remote. Volume down button lowers volume but also changes video type (standard, theater, game, sport, calibrated, etc.) Solution provided did not work. Remote is a voice remote model RC833 about a year old. Has never worked right so I also have to use two remotes.

Gboice2 , try setting up the remote to control the TV again but when it asks if the music stopped lie and say it didn't to go on to the next code.  I don't know how many different codes it may have for Sharp TVs, but one may work where others don't.
