Re: Volume on TV goes up or down by itself
Welcome to the Roku Community, @Mo12!
Thanks for reaching out and for trying to troubleshoot your physical remote. We'd be happy to suggest further steps to help you fix this.
Reboot your voice remote
If your voice remote uses standard AA or AAA alkaline batteries, you can reboot it by removing and reinstalling the batteries.
- Remove the battery cover on the back of your remote
- Remove both batteries from the battery compartment
- Re-insert the negative (-) end of a battery first and then gently push the positive (+) end until the battery clicks into place
- Repeat the previous step to install the second battery
- Put the battery cover back on your remote
If your voice remote has a rechargeable battery, follow the steps below below to reboot your remote
- If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.
- If your rechargeable voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home for 20 seconds.
Reboot your streaming device
Use the following steps to restart your streaming device.
- Remove the power cable from your streaming device
- Wait at least 5 seconds
- Re-connect the power cable
- Wait for your streaming device to power on, and the Home screen to appear on your TV
- Once you see the Home screen, try to use your remote to control your device
If the issue persists, please let us know so we can continue assisting you from there.
Best regards,
Carly

Re: Volume on TV goes up or down by itself
That doesn't work but for me the problem went away on its own about a week ago(so far). Maybe Roku fixed the glitch.

Re: Volume on TV goes up or down by itself
I am still having the problem so it is not fixed. I give up.
I quit sending in any updates about my issue because no one cares.

Oh it's an annoying **bleep**. It'll probably start again. Will a new Ultra help?

Hi @webbhq and @JRJ, thank you for posting in the Roku Community!
We really appreciate your attempts to fix the issue with your Roku voice remote’s volume. To better assist you, could you let us know what kind of Roku voice remote you have? Is it rechargeable, or does it use batteries?
