I have yet to get resolution to having 2 !!! Roku remotes not working...been 9 months now. And it appears this is a huge problem for Roku! I would like 2 replacement remotes please. Enough is enough!
Hi @cdudanc,
Thanks for following up.
Can you please provide the information requested by @RokuDanny-R from your previous post? What Roku device are you connecting to the Voice Remote Pro? Have you made sure to un-pair the original remote from the device? This is a common mistake that can mislead to a lot of confusion about which remote is actually having an issue. Lastly, what are the exact steps to reproduce the issue?
We look forward to hearing from you and assisting you with your needs. Thank you!
Best regards,
Mary
I've had this problem with my voice remote pro. I haven’t even had it a year.
It will work when plugged in but doesn't charge. I've tried all of the troubleshooting I could find.
This was the number on the back of my remote. 3226001117
Model is: RC-MC1
Can I please have a replacement?
@nwebbe, when someone from Roku asks for a serial number they want the serial number of your Roku device, not the remote. You can find it displayed under Settings->System->About assuming you can get there.
@renojim @Thanks for telling me. I went to my remote settings but it doesn’t have a serial number. Just the last used, battery level (which is still 0%), MAC address, firmware version, name, and model (RC701).
Hi @nwebbe,
Saw your post!
We recommend going to the Roku Device information by going to Settings>System>About.
For more information about how to find the serial number, visit our Support page: How to find the serial number or device ID for your Roku® device | Official Roku Support
Once we have this information, we will be able to assist you further.
Best regards,
Mary
I am having the same issue as many others in this thread. I have had my remote for one (1) year and after a full days charge it will only say 3% remaining on the TV screen. This should not be happening.
ROKU TV
Serial # on the TV: YN00SX540850
REMOTE
SKU: 322600888
Model: RC-MC1
I'm having the same issue. I used the supplied cable and it's still not charging. I held the pairing button for 15 seconds and still nothing. I've had the supplied USB cable connected for weeks (only way I can use it) also tried brand new cables. It still will not charge but shows connected. I have a copy of my online purchase but I can't find the serial number on the remote.
How can contact Roku for a replacement?
Thanks for your time and assistance.
Thanks [personal information removed]
