Voice remote pro does not work after playing media on a Roku media player

When I try to play content on Roku media player, I can start the video, but after the video plays the only way to pause the video is with voice commands. The remote loses all functionality related to media player functions. The power button works the home button works the one touch play buttons at the bottom of the remote work But I cannot pause. Play fast-forward rewind

We appreciate you for letting us know about the issue with the Roku remote. Please know that we're here to assist you with this. Before we move forward, can you please provide us with the model of your Roku device and the purchase date of the remote? Also, please confirm if this is the remote that originally came with the device.

In the meantime, please try to reset your Roku remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds. After doing so, pair it again and try to utilize the remote feature to see if this makes any difference.
