Voice remote pro 2 battery level keeps showing on tv

Hi Community users,

Thank you for reaching out to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you bringing the remote battery level notification issue to our attention, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Currently, we are aware of this issue, and we highly recommend the following steps to reboot your remote:

  • If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.
  • If your rechargeable voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 20 seconds.

When the status light stops flashing, your rechargeable voice remote has successfully rebooted.

Additional suggestion, test with different power outlets, micro USB cables, and USB chargers.

You have to know by now that the suggestions to reset things doesn't work, and I see numerous support responses to send in the details like this, but zero actual solutions.

 

Is it just a defective design, and I should return this to Amazon ASAP, or is there an actual fix?
