Voice Remote Pro won't charge

Our one Voice Remote Pro refuses to charge. It pops up on the screen twith the 0% battery icon when plugged in, and the green charging indicator light blinks, but it never goes above 0% and only works when plugged in.

We've tried rebooting the remote by holding the sync button for 20 seconds (or longer), rebooting the Roku device, unpairing and repairing (while plugged in), and turning off the Voice switch to conserve battery. Tried different charging cords, power bricks, and outlets. This last time, we left it on the charger for 2 days and it still said 0%.

Any advice?
