Has anyone been able to use Samsung remote BN59-01301A to control ROKU express. I need a remote that will control volume and on/off as well as navigate my Roku session. I have a Samsung E450 Plasma TV

Hi, @STONE1

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.

As advised by the Community Streaming Experts, Roku devices are best paired with a remote that is officially produced by Roku since 3rd party remotes are not officially supported with any Roku devices. It might work, however, there is no guarantee that it will work as expected compared with an official Roku remote being used to navigate the Roku device. For example, any third-party remote with an IR (Infrared) function that does not need any pairing might work on a Roku Express but does not guarantee to operate with the same performance as an official Roku remote.

To purchase a Roku remote, visit this link. Please make sure to check the details of each remote for compatibility with each device.

We hope this answers your inquiry.

Best wishes,
Kash
