Same problem, it started recently April - May 2021. Roku 4660x and RCA tv. Please sort it out. Using 2 remotes is so dark ages.

As of 5/19/2021, we believe that this issue has been resolved. Please perform a software update from your device using the instructions below. 

Instructions to manually update your software:

1. Navigate to Settings
2. Select System
3. Select System update
4. Then Check now

My Roku only raises or lowers volume one click at a time. so I have to continually click the volume up or down.  It is not continuous, if held down it does nothing.  It did not do this before the update. I've done the update, tv remote settings but still no continuous volume up or down.

I have 2 TVs with a Roku streaming stick (operated fine for 3yrs) that were affected by the previous update. 1 was fixed by re-pairing the remote and 1 was not. Here's the info on the one that is still not working:
